Cultural Discovery

If you do not experience cultural discovery while abroad, then you have missed the point of leaving home. Everything you will experience abroad which is new and different to you is a result of the cultural aspects of your destination. Shared values of the people are expressed in the art, literature and day to day way of life of a country, and you will be sifting your way through the obvious differences as well as the subtle distinctions which make different cultures so fascinating. Cultural differences can be exciting and fun, but often are challenging and drive you to reflect on your own cultural upbringing as well.
