Danielle Gentry has over 15 years of experience in the field of higher education focusing on international education, leadership development, and training. Danielle holds a Master’s Degree is Organizational Learning with a focus on Leadership Development from Suffolk University in Boston MA. In addition she holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
Her professional journey has lead her through a variety of roles including Program Director for Up With People, Director of the Community Leadership Institute at Johnson & Wales University, Curriculum designer & Facilitator for the Wizards Way Character Education Camp, and Resident Director for Student Life at the University of New Hampshire. Her current role as special projects manager focuses on training and motivation for the staff at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad.
Danielle has a passion for international travel and a commitment to global service as well. Her travels have taken her to 5 continents and more than 25 countries. Danielle has served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and on the Board of Governors for the Up with People International Alumni Association. Danielle has been active in many professional organizations as well including Association for Training and Development, Association for Experiential Education, International Leadership Association, National Association for Foreign Student Advisors, Association of College Student Personal, and the Women’s Visions Foundation. She shares her passion for leadership, travel and service by volunteering with local organizations, speaking at local and national and International conferences, and facilitating experiential exercises for all types of groups – both educational and corporate.
