| By participating in the enCompass Program you'll not only contribute to the growth of international education, but also develop yourself professionally and personally through various activities that help you stay connected to your experience and plan the next one! In addition, by participating in the program, you earn a credential that you can and should add to your resume. Contribute to the Growth of International Education Now that you've lived abroad, you understand the value of an international experience. Think about how much you learned about the world, your host culture, and yourself. Think about how your mind opened up to new perspectives and new challenges. Now imagine if everyone you know could experience the same monumental changes. What would our country and our world look like? If that thought excites you, you are most likely a big believer in sending more and more students abroad. Your own knowledge, advice, and encouragement could be exactly what the next generation of students need to get themselves abroad. So, get out there, share your experience and make a difference in this world! The activities in the enCompass Program have designed to help you do just that. Add More Substance to Your Resume As you intentionally share your experience and reflect on your time abroad, you will begin to leave a trail of tangible skills and outcomes that can help build you professionally. Reflecting back on your time abroad will help you express the skills you gained, making yourself more attractive to employers. And some activities can result in actual projects that can be listed on your resume or added to your professional portfolio. Plus, you will widen your network of contacts and start to connect with people on a more mature level. With the right professional development experiences, your future is wide open! Continue Growing From the Experience Do you feel like a new person now that you've been abroad? No doubt that you are, and you should fully embrace it! Besides suddenly seeing life through a new lens, much of the growth you experienced probably came from taking the time to reflect on where you were and who you are in a new context. Well, that doesn't have to stop. Many of the enCompass activities will guide you through exercises in self-reflection so you can continue to process your inner self in this next chapter of life. Remember: "Life is not about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself." So what's stopping you?!? enCompass Rewards Package Chances are that you’re keen to do most of these activities anyway, but we love to encourage and support our alumni with some recognition and rewards.
