All GlobaLinks Learning Abroad programs allow you to earn academic credit applicable to your degree program so that you can continue your academic progress while studying abroad. As an AustraLearn, AsiaLearn, or EuroLearn participant, you will work with your personal coordinator to select classes prior to departure (where applicable), ensure course pre-approval, and transfer credits upon your return. No aspect of your academic plan will be overlooked.

Academic Enrollment and Credit Transfer

Universities in other countries usually offer similar degree programs as your university in the U.S. or Canada. This makes it easy to take classes that will transfer back to your school to be counted as credits towards graduation. In order to help you get the most from your study abroad experience, we require your home university to pre-approve the classes you wish to take while abroad. Upon acceptance to the program, you will receive advice from your coordinator on selecting your intended subjects (classes) through your MyLearn account. GlobaLinks Learning Abroad will assist you with this process in many ways and works with all U.S. and Canadian colleges and universities.
