 GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers short-term
programs (2-8 weeks) in Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji .
Our programs are designed to give participants a
deep and meaningful exposure to the host country
and culture through an academically challenging
format and a variety of excursions to local areas of
significance.
Courses are available in a variety of
academic disciplines. Some of them are based at a
university allowing you to take classes alongside local
and international students. Others involve a significant
amount of travel throughout the course allowing you
to truly interact with the local culture and academic
subject matter. Regardless of the location, you will find our short course
programs to be authentic and engaging,
interactive and stimulating.
Why do a summer or January-term program?
- Short courses are typically more affordable than full
semester programs. With all the essential services still
provided, you get the best value for your money.
- These programs provide off-the-beaten-path experience.
Each course has been created by locals and is lead by
experts who reside within the host country.
- A perfect study abroad opportunity for students with fall
and spring semester obligations on home campus (sports
teams, specific course requirements, etc.).
- Most are led by local faculty from overseas universities,
giving you the benefit of learning and hands-on practice
with worldwide experts.
- Short courses are offered for a wide variety of subjects,
giving you the opportunity to further skills in your specific
degree of study, or allowing you to pursue a new area of
interest.
- All courses offer field trips or excursions, providing you the
opportunity to fully experience the country in which you
are studying.

- Scholarships are available for most programs, and it is
possible that existing financial aid may be used.
