Rebecca Anderson's passion for International Education started when she studied abroad herself for a semester at La Universidad de Concepcion in Concepcion, Chile. The road she had planned to take in life quickly changed as she learned so much more about the Spanish culture, world politics and social issues. Rebecca majored in International Relations and then during her time in Chile decided to add on a second major; Spanish.

When Rebecca returned from her semester abroad, she work in the Center for International Studies at St. Cloud State University as a peer advisor then later, intern. Rebecca graduated with her degrees in International Relations and Spanish in 2006. Rebecca landed a position in 2007 involving International Business Development and Event Management in the area of renewable energies. During this time Rebecca has co-created and presented a pilot program and business proposal in Spanish to the Minister of Environment, Spain.

In 2008, an opportunity to join GlobaLinks Learning Abroad presented itself to Rebecca. Although it was a difficult choice leave her current position, she did so eagerly and started her journey at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad in November of 2008. During Rebecca’s time at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, she has managed up to 10 universities. She was also very fortune to have lead the Bridging Cultures Program in Fiji, twice in 2011. Rebecca has also visited a few universities throughout Australia.

Rebecca loves to travel and has been to the Canary Islands, Belgium, Chile, Mexico, Jamaica, Australia, Fiji, and China. In her spare time, she loves to enjoy the beautiful weather that Colorado has to offer which usually includes her lovable, Golden Retriever, Sam.
