Jacqueline was born in Akron, Ohio. While completing her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at Miami University, she had the good fortune to study abroad in Luxembourg, India, and Israel. She completed her master’s at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she had the opportunity to study Nubian mummies and teach Anthropology. Her teaching background convinced her of the importance of a multicultural experience in education and so she is thrilled to be a part of ISA’s internship team where she can help students realize their professional goals while experiencing a new culture. In addition to studying abroad, Jacqueline has travelled to Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, Canada, New Zealand, Kenya, Jordan, Turkey, Thailand and all over Europe and the United States. When not travelling, she enjoys hiking, camping, running, biking, skiing, swimming, dancing, volunteering, and reading and writing.
