Multi-Day Excursions Included in all Pacific Region Programs

As students are exploring study abroad options for 2013, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that in addition to ongoing discovery activities throughout the semester, we now include excursions as part of our semester and year abroad programs in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji! Students participating in these programs choose from one of the following trips throughout the semester. All tour costs are included and all students have to do is get themselves to the departure point.

Legian Beach, Bali: Including a day trip to Ubud

Bali is one of the most picturesque islands on earth with its natural beauty and smiling people. The Hindus Bali religion and local art are steeped in centuries of tradition. Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island of Bali. For more than a century, it has been the island’s preeminent center for fine arts, dance and music.

Queenstown, New Zealand: Including a day trip to Milford Sound

Queenstown is surrounded by majestic mountains and nestled on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu. Milford Sound is a world-renowned natural wonder. Nowhere else in Fiordland do the mountains stand so tall, straight out of the sea. Luxuriant rainforest clings to sheer rock walls and waterfalls tumble hundreds of metres to the sea below.

Fiji Island Resort

Fiji, the world’s friendliest place, is located in the South Pacific and boasts over 300 coral fringed islands scattered across 20,000 square miles. Whether students are interested in the Fijian culture or more adventure such as surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, hiking or simply relaxing, Fiji offers them a variety of activities and attractions.

Whitsundays, Australia

The Whitsundays of Australia include 74 Island Wonders,and are located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. A visit to the Whitsundays is a feast of the senses, surrounded by natural beauty, and dotted with secluded beaches. Named a World Heritage site the Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It is home to tens of thousands of species of brilliantly colored fish, coral and other marine life.


Excursions in Spain

We provide excursions in addition to the Bridging Cultures Program for all students participating in a semester/academic year program in Spain. These excursions allow students to become familiar with some of the most interesting cities and areas in Spain from cultural, artistic, and historic perspectives. Semester abroad students usually have two overnight trips and two day-long excursions. Some examples of previous excursions include the following: Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada, Portugal, El Escorial, and Valencia.


ICMS Paid Internships

International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) is now offering a two trimester study internship combo program options for students looking to undertake a paid internship within hospitality or event management. This option is great for students who need to complete an internship for their undergraduate degree or for students wanting to gain international work experience in their field of study.
